droid life
I had read that a person fully in love with photography will take pictures for the sore reason of passion. I agree. I often take photos for personal reasons and for the excitement of the images. I will take photographs on my phone, as well as various cameras, knowing that I have no intent to sell them.
I thought I'd start blogging with some of my own abstract, fun, and pure joy images.

Family of 4
I've known Joe and Kate for quite awhile now. I've also am so thrilled to be there for their big moments. A wedding, a new baby, and now some "family of 4" photographs! Little Weston just happened to wake up in time, and just looked out from his little lime green blanket as the flash shot off. What a little buddy! I always enjoy my time with these friends and since they're all so good looking.... REALLY enjoy my photography time with them too!!!

Photographing a photographer
I've been getting to know this amazing woman named Brenda. Brenda is much like me and is not very excited about being on the other side of the camera... especially the side of the "subject". (I CRINGE when I see a camera coming and shy away.)
Brenda and I went out for an early morning photo session this fall... we met even before the sun popped up. It actually didn't show up for the session until 5 minutes before we finished! It was so fun. I love the way they images turned out. Yes. Wow.
Oh Brenda, you're gorgeous! And yes, a natural behind the camera.
