Ski Joring 2010

I have been WAITING for the Ski Joring weekend since last January, and it finally came!  The fabulous Ski Joring committee asked Big Mtn Photo to be the event photographers for the 3rd year in a row.  What an honor... and what fun!  With my fabulous photographer friend from Angel Glass Photography, the two of us captured the opening ceremony - the knighting of Scott Ping (very cool man in the Ski Joring circuit) - the crashes around the course - the seconds taken for horse and rider towing a skier/boarder to complete the 3 jump course - to the end of a 2nd day of competition.  Together Scott and I took over 7000 photos!!!
Hard working Jennifer Hintz and the crew have been preparing for this year's event and their hard work DEFINITELY paid off.  Everything ran so smoothly!
