We pack up the car with tents, fly fishing rods, and coolers and embark on our first trip up the Ten Lakes Wilderness Area. But, we are snowed out about 10 miles from our destination lake after a 50 mile drive out. We try another, snow.
Next try, the Bubba Burger at the Cutting Board. Drive up and down Eureka MT, nothing. (little do we know the biz was sold and gone)
We try two other lakes, too busy to fish.
So, we end up on Lake Koocanusa for a beer.
Then we drive home... but, since the guys did take a nap in the car... we can say we car camped.
A campfire at home complete with an outdoor dinner and smores, then a comfy bed, make it a fanastic and fun day. =)
