Loving the sunshine after 44*F with sleet and snow
Well, I spent a good part of my afternoon yesterday trying to figure out how to upload photos to the blog site. .. and by George! I think I've figured it out. We'll see shortly I guess!
I just love cold days that get stuck in the middle of summer. It's a welcomed break from the hot and muggy temperatures. The colder weather will also help deter FIRES! I've got the photo and hiking bug now... and clear blue skies with puffy white Bob Ross clouds are always fabulous for photographs!
Oh! in the middle of that last paragraph... my photos appeared! whoopie!
These photographs are from one of my favorite easy-access hikes in Glacier Park named the Highline Trail. You are usually graced with the presence of a big horn sheep, goats, marmots, and lots of squirrels and birds. Occasionally you may see a bear, but I must say that I am very happy that we didn't see any on this hike!
My wonderful friend Kelly invited several of her friends and away we went on our journey. Little did we know the latte's we had before the hike, would help us out a little bit when we stepped off the shuttle bus into 44*F!!!! SNOW RAIN HAIL LIGHTNING THUNDER SLEET... you name it, we hiked it. We did have some intermittent sunshine... so we covered all seasons on this hike! 6 hours later, we finished our 11 mile hike photo excursion of Glacier Park. I can't WAIT to get back!!!
