puppy love...

Janna came to visit with a surprise this 4th of July. Daisy. A 7 week old Daushund with lots of spunk. She was so tiny, I could hold her in one hand.
Of course, how could I resist a fun filled photo session with this little model.

Pet photography.... especially a puppy portrait session, for your new little bundle of joy! A puppy is a precious little package for only so long.... but cherish it with a photo that would last a lifetime.

#7 South Course

#6 South Course @ Whitefish Lake

In June I had the pleasure of hanging out with some wonderful golfer friends for a photo shoot at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. What a great way to enjoy an evening... especially since we didn't keep score!!!

Book an appointment for some portraits mixed with 7fps action shots for families, friends, or a senior session!

The Highline Trail

Loving the sunshine after 44*F with sleet and snow

Well, I spent a good part of my afternoon yesterday trying to figure out how to upload photos to the blog site. .. and by George! I think I've figured it out. We'll see shortly I guess!

I just love cold days that get stuck in the middle of summer. It's a welcomed break from the hot and muggy temperatures. The colder weather will also help deter FIRES! I've got the photo and hiking bug now... and clear blue skies with puffy white Bob Ross clouds are always fabulous for photographs!

Oh! in the middle of that last paragraph... my photos appeared! whoopie!

These photographs are from one of my favorite easy-access hikes in Glacier Park named the Highline Trail. You are usually graced with the presence of a big horn sheep, goats, marmots, and lots of squirrels and birds. Occasionally you may see a bear, but I must say that I am very happy that we didn't see any on this hike!
My wonderful friend Kelly invited several of her friends and away we went on our journey. Little did we know the latte's we had before the hike, would help us out a little bit when we stepped off the shuttle bus into 44*F!!!! SNOW RAIN HAIL LIGHTNING THUNDER SLEET... you name it, we hiked it. We did have some intermittent sunshine... so we covered all seasons on this hike! 6 hours later, we finished our 11 mile hike photo excursion of Glacier Park. I can't WAIT to get back!!!

Bringing it all together...

Finally... a rainy day to catch up with everything... and finally start doing what I am passionate about. My photography.

After the four and a half winter months at the Whitefish Mtn Resort... I happily switch "gears" and resume my position at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course as the head of mowing the fairways. It is ALWAYS a welcomed move! Nothing more wonderful that striping the big green lush fairways... and waving to the golfers as I pass through.

This past April finished my second season with Big Mtn Photo at the ski resort. I am still learning the "fine art" of running a smooth, fast, artsie, and successful business... and aim to improve with each season. For the 09-10 winter season, I have LOTS of new ideas to hopefully boost the ease of folks getting their photographs. I had to part with my lab set-up, and am in a constant search to find an "out" lab.

I have not outwardly pursued weddings yet this season... but have several in line and am anxiously awaiting to shoot them! I love wedding photography... so elegant, so fun, so exciting, so passionate... so photogenic!

I hope to have my website spruced up soon... so stay tuned!

So! With that all said, I hope that you enjoy my photo posts!
I LOVE to share my passion for photography, and hopefully someday soon... I'll share you in that passion with others!
